Thursday 26th September fast train to Florence from Venice in the morning allowing you to enjoy the afternoon in the city. In the late afternoon a luxurious wine tasting 5pm (1,5h) of the most delicious products of the peninsula. This is without a doubt the best wine bar in the city, off the beaten track yet bang in the center. I've known them for years and they may be partly responsible for how I turned out. The wine tasting includes an exceptional selection of five wines (we will decide later how many reds and how many whites) and a champagne method sparkling wine along with some nibbles. The idea is to introduce you to things you might not have heard about and to start learning more about the wine culture. The wines will be explained in English by a professional sommelier who will tell you about the wine production as well as the specific producer and their background story, since the owners only work with producers they have visited in person. 350€. Transport cost on this day will vary based on how early I make reservations for the train, however it will be between 250€ and 450€ lunch not included
