Land in Catania and transfer to Siracusa

If your luggage is lost go straight to the assistance desk located in the baggage claim area before exiting. They will ask you to fill out a form that includes the address where they should send your luggage. Fill out the form using the following format:

 Land at Catania Airport and meet your driver who will be waiting for you at the airport. Transfer to Siracusa (2h)

5pm Meet your guide Elfie in the lobby of the hotel for a 2h max walking tour of Ortigia.
Wear comfortable shoes, the historic center is all flat but as per usual in Italy you walk on uneven surfaces. Bring a hat and wear sunscreen in case.

7.30pm Dinner at Retroscena restaurant 

Thursday 18th June
9.30am Meet your guide Elfie and driver in the lobby,  tour of Siracusa Archeological area.

12.30 pm Lunch, gourmet panino at Fratelli Burgio

Afternoon at leisure
Suggestions:In Ortigia you can go to the beach at the Cala Rossa, or to the beach of Forte Vigliena, both at 15 minutes walk from your hotel. Keep in mind that these are free beaches, so our suggestion is to wear the swimming suit under your clothes because there aren't changing areas available.

Friday 19th June
8.30am The dirver will pick you up and drive to Pachino (1h) to meet with local wine expert Helen for the wineries visit and wine tastings plus lunch
Return to Ortigia, afternoon at leisure
7.30pm Dinner at Ozeta Ortgia
 
Saturday 20th June
Check-out of B&B Approdo delle Sirene
8.30am The dirver will pick you up and transfer to Taormina (2h)
10.30am Arrival in Taormina at Hotel Pensione Svizzera
Meet Elfie your guide and leave for a walking tour of Taormina plus visit of the Greek theatre.
1 pm Lunch at Rosmarino
Afternoon at leisure
7.30 pm Dinner with wine pairing at Siculishh Bistro
 
Suggestions: This afternoon is the perfect opportunity to go the the beach: you can reach the seaside very easily using the Cableway that takes you down to Isola Bella. The return ticket is 10€ and it is a panoramic experience. Otherwise you can grab a taxi, either have the hotel organize one for you or grab one at the taxi pick up point on the main walking street. Keep in mind that this is a mainly a free beach so our suggestion is to wear the swimming suit under your clothes because there aren't changing areas available. 

Sunday 21st June
9.30am Meet your driver at the hotel and drive down to Giardini Naxos 
10 am boat tour
12 am end of boat tour and Lunch at Mister Fantasy
Afternoon at leisure, you can decide if you'd like to spend the day at Giardini Naxos or Isola Bella or return to Taormina
7.30 pm Dinner at Pizzeria Villa Zuccaro

Monday 22nd June
9am Check out of Hotel Pensione Svizzera and Meet Paolo your guide and jeep adventure host in the lobby of the hotel and board the 4x4 jeeps that will take you to the Etna Volcano Adventure: a 3h off road adventure on the volcano plus optional trekking.
(you will be in the vehicle for 2 hours at a time and the road is windy and bumpy, if you suffer from motion sickness take your medication before departure or put on your wrists band. You will walk on volcanic soil and uneven surfaces, make sure to have comfortable trekking shoes, a jumper to bring with you just in case and a wind jacket)

12.40 Make your way aboard your jeep to lunch.

1.00pm Lunch with wine tasting with local wine expert Helen.

After lunch back to your agriturismo aboard the jeeps.
