Italian Getaway
Arrive in Florence and check-in at Hotel Degli Orafi for your two nights stay. The rooms here go from about 250 to 600 a night depending on which we chose. Depending on what time you arrive at the airport this can be a day to just relax, enjoy a wine tasting or to consider your day one and have a tour.
Day 1 On the first day I recommend one of our guests' all time favorites: a half day tour that covers the main iconic sites of the city in all the main squares as well as the more foody side of things. The tour includes among other things the famous food market for some tastings of cheeses and “salumi”, gelato in a historical Florentine artisanal gelato shop, of course an unmissable stop for a glass of wine from one of the iconic wine windows and a visit to the Accademia museum to see Michelangelo’s David. Leave the afternoon for shopping and exploring on your own.
540€ including all tastings, guided tour and tickets to see the David

Day 2 Discover the treasures of the Uffizi Gallery with our expert guide on this immersive 2,5-hour tour. Delve into masterpieces of Renaissance art, including works by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and da Vinci. Gain unique insights and stories about each piece, enhancing your appreciation of this iconic collection. Join us for an unforgettable journey through one of the world's most renowned art museums!
480€ including private guided tour and tickets

Day 3 Check out of your hotel in Florence and transfer to your villa.
On the way stop for lunch at an incredibly small and adorable family run farm that produces cheese, olive oil and wine among other things. This is one of my favorite places as it offers an insight into a world of small producers that are becoming less and less common yet still they persevere and stick to their beliefs. The farm is run by a family but the real engine behind everything is a girl who is relatively young yet she has learnt how to run and make everything around the farm and loves her life so much that she is a true inspiration. After visiting the farm you will get to enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch before reaching the city.
1150€ including transport farm visit, tasting and lunch

The Accommodation: I would have you stay at Di Colle in Colle: a gorgeous family run boutique B&B that includes breakfast and offers dinner, they also make their own olive oil and delicious organic wine. Prices here are between 250€ and 300€ per night

Day 4 In the morning enjoy a one of a kind coffee experience at a prize winning coffee producer that will open up a whole new world that you probably didn't know existed behind your coffee. We then move on to an active family owned olive mill where you can see how olive oil is produced today as well as in the past. For lunch we will move on to the hilltop town of Cortona. In the afternoon tour of the historical center and its gorgeous surroundings including some incredible places off the beaten track.
1300€ including coffee experience, olive oil experience, lunch, guided tour and transportation
